Every time I roll through Dover, I usually stop at Hong’s Asian Noodle Bar—that place is fantastic. But today, I decided to try something new: Ichi Ramen, a newer spot in town. I’m glad I did.

A Cozy Newcomer with Soul-Healing Ramen
Nestled on Central Avenue, Ichi Ramen is still smoothing out some start-up kinks, but don’t let that fool you—the food is already very good.

Highlights: What I Tried
Tonkatsu Ramen — My bowl was hearty and soul-warming. The broth was rich, salty, and loaded with depth. A generous portion of vegetables, succulent meat, and perfectly springy noodles made every slurp a joy.

Authenticity & Atmosphere: Must Try in Dover NH
Reviewers describe Ichi Ramen as serving “cozy,” “authentic ramen dishes” with “rich broths, fresh noodles, and a variety of toppings” The space itself, while still fine-tuning its service, already shows promise. My review is it's on the list of Must Try in Dover NH
Why It’s Worth the Trip
Yes, Hong’s remains a local favorite—but Ichi brings quality ramen with its own character. The Tonkatsu bowl I had was full of soul-warming comfort, and the broth had just the right balance of salty richness to rival any top ramen spot in NH.
